Grand Master Ashwin Jayaram – Patron & Technical Support Head International Grandmaster Ashwin Jayaram serves as our Patron and Technical Support Head. With his vast experience at the highest levels of competitive chess, he provides invaluable guidance in technical matters, training methodology, and the overall development of our programs. His association brings global expertise and inspiration to our initiative.

M.B. Muralidharan – FIDE Master FIDE Master M.B. Muralidharan, a five-time Kerala State Chess Champion, is one of the most respected chess figures in the region. With decades of competitive experience and deep knowledge of the game, he plays a crucial role in mentoring players and strengthening the academy’s chess culture.

Harish B. Menon – Senior National Arbiter Harish B. Menon is a certified Arbiter who has successfully conducted and officiated numerous chess tournaments and major chess events. His expertise ensures that competitions are organized professionally, following international standards and regulations.

Bright Lee Sunil Kumar - FIDE Rating: 1752

Bright Lee Sunil Kumar is a dedicated chess player and experienced coach who has been actively involved in developing young chess talents. With a strong competitive background and several notable achievements at university and national levels, he brings valuable expertise to the academy.

Major Achievements:

• All India University Team Chess Championship 2026 – 2nd Runner-up

• South Zone Inter-University Team Chess Championship 2026 – 3rd Runner-up

• MG University Inter-Collegiate Team Chess Championship – Champion (2021–2026)

• South Zone Inter-University Team Chess Championship 2022 – 1st Runner-up

• 2nd ISC Below 1700 FIDE Rating Tournament 2022 – 1st Runner-up

Other Highlights:

• Represented Kerala in the Under-13, Under-17, and Under-19 National Chess Championships

• Winner of multiple district and state-level chess tournaments
